Wreck this Journal by Keri Smith is an Art Journal, but not your typical one. This isn't a place to sit by and put your nice sketches or colorful artwork, this is a book to experiment, the beat up and just to free yourself from the confines of lines. I am a very tight artist. I stay in the lines, I follow the rules of color and rules of three. This book makes you break them, you have no choice. I'm still feeling tight, but I can slowly see myself getting more and more loose. By the time I finish this book it is going to be a WRECK!

The Sketchbook Project

So my photo project has died a cruel death. Mostly because my camera is not able to download to the computer. There is a short or something. But I will not start a new blog for my sketchbook project. There is no need.

The Sketchbook Project I just found this. I have until the end of April to fill a sketchbook for the Brooklyn Art Library. I am sure I have enough time to fill this book with some fabulous stuff. I will be sharing my work here from time to time. Between my art class and this, I am sure to find my lost inspiration.
